We were tasked with producing Snapchat’s VIP lounge at Vidcon 2023 from ideation to execution. Our goal was to create an environment that was fun, fully immersive, and instantly recognizable as a Snapchat experience.

To present Snapchat’s brand assets in a new way visually, we themed their activation “Golden Hour” in reference to that magical time of day when the light is just right, and everyone wants to take a photo. A gray, bare-bones cement courtyard was transformed into a luxurious respite from the Vidcon frenzy, fully hued in signature Snapchat yellow. 

Guests entered through a tunnel and arrived in a “sun”-drenched oasis, with accents of cacti and clouds to enhance the laidback, desert-tinged relaxation vibes. While enjoying amenities such as a cereal bar and plush seating, they could also make use of an AR photo studio and custom-fabricated mirror selfie moments. Exclusive branded merch included snapback caps, towels, and sunscreen courtesy of our partnership with Starface. Brand ambassadors were on hand to help guests make the most of their VIP lounge experience.
